just picked up a late 70's formula vee its a bit ruff body wise but generally sound overall.
plan is to redesign rear suspension convert to 4x130 all round and and slip in my 1700cc type 4 :D , use led taillights/indicators and use some round buggy headlights. photos up soon.

a stack of pictures of the vee when i got it and today. frame straight but as you can see it spent most of its life under a temporary shelter and acquired a descent amount of surface rust. rear section been cut off to install a irs box with a new rear double a arm suspension design like the Porsche 787 single seater.

Enjoy

How's it looking for making it street legal?
Have you gone through any of the cert process yet?

I love the ol' single seaters. Would be great seeing more of this thing around on the streets.
Keep up with the build pics, gonna enjoy this one! :D
