Great site for the Nationals!
So my Beetle is not what you call a show car - more like a daily driver work in progress - so can I enter?
I just want to participate in all th VW fun.

Absolutely, that's what the Nats are all about ... participation I went to Nelson this year in my daily driver and had a blast ... great opportunity to meet some new people, have a few beers & talk shit ....VW shit that is

There are some that are serious, and that's cool, but a lot are just there for the fun .... although if they have a drag at Meremere I think I'll be tempted to run my car

The mighty Waimate crew are saving up already. The VW Coromandel tour after also sounds like us.....especially since we purchased a 1969 Dormobile following the South Island Tour this year. The best road trip we have ever been on.

I like the idea of a watching a drag (or whatever) that runs alongside the normal events at the Nationals. Count me out for participating though, the Beetle takes 30 seconds to get to 100, I hate to think how long the dormobile will take.

Perhaps we can convoy up ... at 70 mph of course Sending the family by plane, and I'm going to road trip the bug up ... should be great fun!

Hi Guys, final details for the 2011 VW Nationals in Auckland are now available on the http://www.vwnationals.co.nz/ web site. Registrations are now open, and include an optional drag meeting at Meremere Dragway on the Saturday. Look forward to seeing you all there.
