I have heard that the older Hilborn setups were like a light switch, either on or off. Which is probably why you saw them mostly on speedway midgets back in the day.

Neat looking bit of kit on an aircooled motor, but that adaption to the Datsun motor would be a squeeze to get under the bonnet. :lol:

Mike Lawless runs a hillborn set up in his ghia... They definitely require some skill to set up right, but are bullet proof when got right !!

Looks cool too !
The internet where riding coat tails and leg humping are signs of success
